Meet Maxine

Hey there! I’m Maxine-  a second gen Lakeland hairstylist, proudly serving the Central Florida area!

With 5 years of experience, I specialize in creating bold color transformations whether you are dreaming of vibrant vivids, seamless dimensional blonding, needing a corrective color to revive your hair with some TLC, or want an effortless low- maintenance look that still makes an impact. My passion and priority is in creating custom colors and cuts that are tailored to your unique vibe and lifestyle, while keeping your hair healthy. 

When you sit in my chair, we’ll create a game plan that aligns with your lifestyle so you don’t have to spend hours on your hair (unless you want to) and cut through the influencer noise that leaves you questioning whether or not what you’re doing is right for your hair type.  As someone who’s neurodivergent, I get how important it is to have a simple routine that's sustainable and effective. I love helping my clients build hair care habits that are great for those on the go days, or getting extra hot for a night out. 

Growing up in the 2000’s, where frying and straightening your hair was the IT thing to do, led me to my passion in the hair world. Heat damage, having to learn how to nurture my natural texture, and switching my hair color so many times taught me this:  you do not have to choose between bold color and healthy hair. You can have both.

Outside of the salon I’m all about creativity, self-expression, and experiences. I love discovering new restaurants or a good recipe for a night in. I am big into music, art,  and astrology/tarot- and love winding down with yoga, meditation, or a warm cup of tea.
